Can I send food via courier?
When it comes to sending food items abroad via courier, the rules are relatively simple: You cannot send any food items that are classed as perishables (things that can go off or that can spoil during transit). This is the most important rule of all, and as long as you stick to this rule, you will be just fine.
Can I post a food parcel?
You can send food items by courier in the UK (although they’re on the restricted items list – meaning you’re not covered for compensation) including cakes, as long as they’re not perishable food items that need to be kept refrigerated.

How do I send a food parcel?
You can send it via parcel courier, but additionally you need to follow these rules. Rule 1- Food must be present within its original packaging provided for by the manufacturer. Rule 2- This packaging must not be damaged, changed, or tampered with in any way.

Can you overnight cooked food?
The USDA says food that has been left out of the fridge for more than two hours should be thrown away. At room temperature, bacteria grows incredibly fast and can make you sick. Reheating something that has been sitting at room temperature for longer than two hours won’t be safe from bacteria.
Can I send frozen food in the mail?
You may ship frozen articles using packaging supplies like Dry Ice at your own risk and according to Publication 52 section on Dry Ice. The frozen product must be packaged so as not to leak or cause odors. You could be held liable for damage to other mail if yours is not properly packaged.
